Our Nursery Manager has extensive nursery management experience and is qualified to Level 5. She is responsible for the Nursery team which include a Deputy Manager, Room Leaders and Nursery Nurses as well as kitchen and housekeeping staff.

Quality childcare is dependent on quality staff and we firmly believe in recruiting and training the very best. We are committed to fostering happy, skilled, passionate and loyal nursery teams in working environments where they can attain their full potential – ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of childcare provision.

Staff is regularly trained and coached both internally and by external courses, ensuring they are kept up to date with the latest Early Years policies and procedures.

The majority of our Nursery Nurses are trained to at least Level 3 in Early Years Education & Childcare. We have a very high qualified to unqualified staff ratio which far exceeds that of OFSTED requirements.  We have Nursery Assistants at Level 2 working towards their Level 3 and Nursery Nurses working towards their degree.  Our senior staff are undertaking formal management training.  In addition, we support learning through out the nursery and all staff are given the opportunity to attend short courses to help improve their knowledge and skills.

We hold regular staff meetings and in house training sessions (delivered by external trainers) ensuring staff are kept up to date with latest developments in childcare as well as re-visiting of our policies on childcare.

We are committed to providing a safe environmental for our children so all staff are fully vetted and have an enhanced DBS check before becoming a permanent member of staff.
